Mud Run Gear

Training for and conquering your next mud run can be an awesome and invigorating experience if your gear is right, fits well and holds up to extreme conditions and weather. You’ll need gear that can withstand everything from wind to water and rocks to riptides. Depending on your mud run, you might need gear to keep you warm or gear to keep your body temperature to a minimum, including running shoes, shorts or tights, gloves for grip, shirts, hoodies and more… Most of what you need can be picked up at your local sporting goods store, but you’ll most likely save a lot by thinking ahead and purchasing what you need online. I’ve listed a bunch of recommended gear below for your perusal, much of which I have used myself.
